NFCR Giving Day 2024

Advance treatment technology for childhood cancers that often go unseen but still need new treatment options! Help us unlock an additional $24,000 in match gifts for meeting the unmet needs in Pediatric Cancer Research.

We encourage our staff to show commitment to our cause. For every dollar donated by an NFCR employee, it will be matched by the organization, up to $20,000. This is an opportunity to demonstrate that our unity and collective effort can lead to monumental achievements in cancer research.

Spark a movement with your donation and help us unlock a $5,000 gift from a generous donor. The first 10 contributors who give $75 or more will receive a special gift from NFCR.

As we come to the end of the Giving Day, let’s drive forward our mission in this pivotal moment. Help unlock a $7,000 gift with your contribution, and the first 10 contributors to give $100 or more will receive a special gift from NFCR.

Support your ambassador in raising $2,000 and help them earn the “Super Fundraiser” recognition!!! The ambassador’s top 3 contributors who donate $50 or more will receive a special gift from NFCR.

Rally behind our marathon runners as they race towards the finish line and a cure for cancer. Every dollar donated boosts our runner's motivation and funds cancer research. When we reach $10,000 in donations, it unlocks a special $2,000 gift.

Collaborate with our leadership, who has committed to match up to $25,000. Every dollar supported by you will be doubled until the total matched funds reach $25,000.

Invite new donors to join our mission - 20 new supporters who commit to donating to NFCR monthly or on a longer-term basis will unlock a $20,000 gift. This challenge expands our community, pushing us toward a brighter future. The individual who brings in the highest number of new donors will receive a special gift from NFCR.

Help us raise $50,000 to fund essential scientific equipment critical to advancing cancer research and moving closer to meeting the unmet needs. With your support, we can make significant contributions towards essential tools. $25-$100 – Stains one tissue slide from a tumor biopsy to look for a predictive biomarker of cancer metastasis $100 – Performs one biopsy to get tumor tissues from a patient for a variety of pathological tests and biological analyses $250 – Buys one case of petri dishes for growing cancer cells – an essential first step to identify tumor markers or test treatment effectiveness of new drugs $500-750 – Buys one antibody test to determine whether tumor cells have a specific marker for drug resistance $1,000 – Carries out a comprehensive genome-wide analysis on all genes in one tumor sample, for developing targeted and personalized cancer therapies
