The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing scientists with crucial funding to drive transformative discoveries in cancer treatment, detection, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure. NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing “high-risk, high-impact” long-term and transformative pioneering research fields, often overlooked by other major funding sources. With the support of more than 5.3 million individual donors over the last 51 years, NFCR has provided $410 million in funding to cancer research, prevention, and public education.
As we celebrate our 51 years of progress, we invite you to join us for the 2024 Day of Giving, spanning June 13th to June 14th. This year’s event shines a spotlight on the pressing “unmet needs in cancer research and patient care”, highlighting the urgency for innovative solutions. Your generous support will enable us to accelerate the journey toward lifesaving discoveries that offer hope and healing to patients. You can choose to back a specific area of research or contribute to the general fund, allowing our esteemed scientific advisory board to allocate resources to where they are most needed.
Help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 and engaging 1,000 donors this Giving Day to advance our mission and defeat cancer!
Help us secure the critically needed funds to support game-changing cancer research.
Together, we can make cures possible for ALL CANCERS.
