The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scientists in the lab the funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection, prevention and ultimately, a cure. NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing long-term, transformative research often overlooked by other major funding sources. With the help of more than 5.3 million individual donors over the last 50 years, NFCR has provided $410 million in funding to cancer research, prevention, and public education leading to some of the important, life-saving discoveries that benefit patients today.
To help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the National Foundation for Cancer Research, we invite you to participate in our first annual Giving Day to raise the funds needed to to make cures – for all cancers – possible. Over our first 50 years, NFCR has funded scientists whose research discoveries have led to significant breakthroughs to find cures to cancers. With your support, we will find cures faster and save more lives.
Select a special designation or research area to support or give to the area of greatest need and let our esteemed scientific advisory board decide where to allocate funds. Our research approach is collaborative between scientists, where all work is focused on patient needs in our quest to find cures.
Visit nfcr.org to learn more about all the different areas of research we support and thank you for making cures possible with us!
